What are the benefits of combining Brass and Steel in one arm?
This hybrid construction offers the best of both worlds. The Steel core provides the "memory" and load-bearing strength, while the Brass outer coil ensures smooth, silent movement and provides a superior surface for decorative electroplating.
Can these arms handle high-vibration environments?
Yes. For industrial machine applications, we utilize a Reinforced Steel Core with increased winding tension. This design absorbs mechanical vibrations and prevents the arm from "drifting" or sagging during operation.
Are these arms suitable for internal wiring?
Absolutely. All our brass and steel arms feature a Hollow Core design. We can customize the Inner Diameter (ID) to accommodate various wire gauges, including shielded audio cables for microphones or multi-core USB-C lines.
Can you manufacture custom end-fittings for my device housing?
Yes. Our in-house CNC machining center can produce any custom thread (M8, M10, 1/4"-20, NPT) or specialized flange mount. We can also provide "raw ends" for customers who prefer to weld or glue the arms into their own assemblies.
What is the maximum length you can produce for a steel gooseneck?
We can manufacture custom lengths up to 1500mm. For extra-long applications, we use a multi-stage reinforced steel winding to ensure the arm remains rigid and does not sag under its own weight.
What is the typical lead time for a bulk OEM order?
Standard bulk orders (500–5,000 units) typically ship within 15–20 business days after sample approval. We also maintain a stock of common components to expedite urgent production runs.
Do you provide material test reports (MTR) for international compliance?
Yes. We provide full documentation, including RoHS and REACH compliance certificates, as well as material grade reports for both the brass and steel components used in your order.
